This local boy, who pays tribute to the area’s history and traditions, also like to surprise his guests! He offers contemporary cuisine with the emphasis on high-quality local products.

After studying in Spain, Paris and Berck-sur-Mer in his native region, Tony Lestienne opened his restaurant La Matelote in April 1979. In March 1982, the Michelin Guide awarded him a star.

Having proudly displayed a Michelin star for over 30 years, this chef now shares and passes on his passion for food by giving cookery lessons.
